Instructions for Submitting a Profiles Page

1. Who Should Submit a Page?

If you're a current member of the MG TaylorNetwork, you're welcome to submit a page at any time.

If you're interested in becoming a member of theNetwork, please send us an E-mail so we can start a dialog withyou about your interest in MG Taylor. If we're both interestedafter this initial discussion, you'll be assigned a Sponsor tohelp get more information, and then your page will be posted inthe Prospective Knowledge Workers area on the Profiles Page.

2. What Information Should You Include?

PERSONAL INFORMATION.You may include your real name or a pseudonym if that makes youfeel more comfortable. We will notpublish phone numbers, addresses or fax numbers on our website,but we will publish your E-mail address if you wish and will alsoinclude a link to your personal home page if you have one. [Ifyou don't have one, and you're a Network Member, let us know and we'll helpyou out--it's very easy.] If you wish to include a photograph ofyourself, that's fine.

YOUR STORY. Just tell yourstory--or a story. What would you like everyone else in thenetwork (and on the WWW for that matter) to know about you andyour experience with MG Taylor. This isn't a resume, so be ascreative as you like. Illustrate the page if you wish with smallgraphics.

TALENTS and SKILLS. Well, wemust have something like this to make the whole thing legitimate!What have you done in the Network, what do you like to do, whatwould you like to do?

MISCELLANEOUS. If you havefavorite links on the web, put them in. It would be nice if someof the links were related to issues around Transition Management,but add whatever you think is cool. If you have anything else youwant to put on the page, go ahead. Try to keep the size includinggraphics down to 75K or so.

3. Submitting Your Page

TEXT. You may submit the page in HTML along with the associated graphics in GIF or JPG format. We reserve the right to make adjustments to match the page to the current website specifications. Or you may submit the text in a text file and we'll convert it to HTML for you.

GRAPHICS.Photos should be in JPG format and any line drawings should be inGIF format. If you like, we can convert graphics from TIF or PICformats. If you don't have access to a scanner, you may send us aphotograph and we'll scan it for you. Send an E-mail for theaddress to send it to.

Submit the whole package in a single zipped fileor compressed with StuffIt (from the Macintosh) via E-mail, oryou may mail a disk if you prefer (IBM format, please).
