MG Taylor Corporation's role is that of ongoing research, design and development (RD&D) of augmentation of human creativity, productivity and systemic approaches to designing solutions to problems; principle investor in and development of intellectual capital; and Systems Integrator of the MG Taylor ValueWeb® of enterprises.
At this moment in time, the market has finally caught up with the basic underlying problem which has been and continues to be the impetus for the primary focus of our RD&D since 1974—the accelerating rate of change and increase in complexity, along with a declining capability and capacity for organizations to be requisite with this growing rate of change and complexity, the problems they create, and the unintended consequences of applying inadequately-designed, over-simplified solutions to complex, systemic problems from local to global scope and scale.
At this same moment in time, technology and technical systems have finally advanced sufficiently to be effectively integrated into the patented Taylor System and Method for Augmenting Knowledge Commerce.
The scope of this Invention relates to the facilitation and augmentation of physical, mental and virtual Agents, on multiple levels of recursion, ranging from neural nets, bits of computer code, to human thoughts, humans, tools, tool kits, environments, organizations, networks and organizations of networks of a global scale.
The purpose is to create a unified experience of work that scales from individual thought processes to the building and using of a global system of commerce.
For those who either know something about MG Taylor or have experienced one of our DesignShop® events (whether produced by us, one of our licensed ValueWeb members, or where our system and method was "under the hood," e.g., the Davos WorkSpace, which has become a favorite part of many World Economic Forum participants) or visited or participated in an event held in one of our premier, state-of-the-art, collaborative environments, which we call navCenter® Systems (such as the UniManagement Center, shown to the right), we still deliver truly transformational events and provide environments that are without peer in terms of functionality and aesthetics.
Indeed, our continued focus is on the rapid prototyping of the solutions implied by our System and Method for the purpose of attaining a step-function, transformational state change in the work we do and the products and services we bring to the market place to be able to respond appropriately to the ever-increasing upward slope of the rate of change and complexity.
As R. Buckminster Fuller said in the Introduction of his book, Critical Path (1981) :
"Humanity is moving ever deeper into crisis—a crisis without precedent."
"First, it is a crisis brought about by cosmic evolution irrevocably intent upon completely transforming omnidisintegrated humanity from a complex of around-the-world, remotely-deployed-from-one-another, differently colored, differently credoed, differently cultured, differently communicating, and differently competing entities into a completely integrated, comprehensively interconsiderate, harmonious whole."
"Second, we are in an unprecedented crisis because cosmic evolution is also irrevocably intent upon making omni-integrated humanity omnisuccessful, able to live sustainingly at an unprecedentedly higher standard of living for all Earthians than has every been experienced by any; able to live within its cosmic-energy income instead of spending its cosmic energy savings account (i.e., the fossil fuels) or spending its cosmic-capital plant and equipment account (i.e., atomic energy)—the atoms with which our Spaceship Earth are structured and equipped—a spending folly no less illogical than burning your house-and-home to keep the family warm on an unprecedentedly cold midwinter night."
